Question 1

Who is the audience, and what crisis are they in?

Question 2

How is the imagery encoding heavenly reality, not predicting headlines?

Question 3

What hope is being given to people who feel powerless?

The Book of Revelation, also known as the Book of the Apocalypse or the Apocalypse of John, is canonically the last book of the New Testament. Written in Greek, its title is derived from the first word of the text, apocalypse (Koine Greek: ἀποκάλυψις, romanized: apokálypsis), which means "revelation" or "unveiling".
